Amanda grew up in Albuquerque, NM, and being her dance training with Karen Alwin at the age of 5.  During her junior year of high school, she decided to attend North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston-Salem, NC where she graduated in 2003, upon graduation she moved to Tucson, AZ to attend the University of Arizona.  In 2007, she graduated with a BFA in dance and minor in business. Amanda has had the privilege of dancing with the likes of Alonzo King, Summer Rhatigan, Melissa Hayden, Frank Smith, James Clouser, Susan Quinn, and Douglas Nielsen. For the past two years she has been a member of Center Dance Ensemble.  Currently, Amanda teaching throughout the valley and is pursuing a second degree in nursing.
