Casey Blake

Casey Blake holds a BA in Theatre and Dance from James Madison University, and an MFA in Dance Choreography and Performance from Arizona State University.  Prior to attending ASU, she worked as production stage manager for the American Dance Festival, and her choreographic work with collaborator Beth Bradford has been shown in Arizona, Virginia and New York. Now based in Phoenix, Casey plays a variety of roles in the arts community, primarily as an arts administrator. She taught at Camelback High School, Rayn Dance Center for the Arts, Scottsdale Community College and ASU, and has performed with a variety of local choreographers. Casey travels throughout the U.S. serving as stage manager with the Chris Burton Jácome Ensemble and CALO Flamenco. Outside of her time with the CBJ Ensemble and CALO, Casey works as the communications and research director at the Arizona Commission on the Arts.
